I love Hawaii. The last time I went to Hawaii was in 2017.

My mom lived in Hawaii, so we go to Hawaii a lot – every two or three years. I have been to Hawaii a lot and everytime I go I see something new, whether it’s on Maui or Oahu. I love the the pool in the Grand Wailea and I love the beach at Aulani. I can’t wait to go back. Sometimes we go hang out with my mom’s friends from when she went to University of Hawaii. My favorite is Cooper, who lives in my mom’s hometown of Kailua. I like to go get Island Snow shave ice with Cooper. I love Cooper’s golden retriever, Rocket. He’s why I got Ginger, my golden.

I love Hawaii so much. In 2017 for my tenth birthday, we went to Kualoa Ranch, on the Windward side of Oahu where my mom lived. This is where they film a lot of movies and TV shows, like Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Godzilla, Hawaii Five-O and Lost. While we were there, they were filming Jurassic World and we saw Chris Pratt getting out of the water. Kualoa Ranch is also an old World War II base and has bunkers that we got to go into. I wanted to go  here for my birthday to go horse riding. It was the first time I rode a horse and two years later, horse riding is my favorite hobby.

We also go to the USS Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor. This is the USS Arizona ship that went down during the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. The ship’s men are entombed in the sunken ship underneath the memorial. Oil still comes up from the ship to the surface of the water.

I also really like going to the North Shore of Oahu. We eat the freshest sushi there and get shaved ice.

One time we went parasailing and it was so much fun. The skippers on the boat took pictures of us way high up in the air and played a prank by putting a shark puppet in the picture. The a year later, I was bit by an actual shark.

Jumping off the Ali’i Nui at Molokini Crater

Last time, I got to swim with wild dolphins. You go out on a boat and they find dolphins swimming in the wild and then you can quietly slip into the water with them. I also went whale watching off the coast of Maui and we had a mugging. That’s when a whale jumps up next to the boat and splashes. We also went snorkeling at Molokini crater, which is right off the Maui coast. I saw all kinds of fish and turtles there. But the funnest thing was jumping off the boat into the ocean.

I love hiking in Hawaii and swimming in waterfalls.

I miss Hawaii. It is so beautiful. The mountain and oceans are so beautiful. We are supposed to go back this year in September for my parent’s 20th wedding anniversary. I highly recommend going to Hawaii. It is really an amazing place.
